She's my BABY and I'll cry if I want to!!!

So anyone who knows me even semi-well knows what a hard time I have with my babies turning 1, well Paizly is NO acception! After we had her I was CERTAIN she was my last baby. So even more than the others I have held her more and stayed up with her in the night just to sit alone with her and try to burn her sweet baby smell and the way she feels in my arms in my memory. I cry for days when the first tooth starts to manifest. The other day I was in Target buying her last can of formula and I was balling!! Seriously people, I clearly have issues!!! I love my babies, I have always loved babies ever since I was little. I ither had a doll or someones baby in my arms. It is hard for me to imagine my life without a baby in it. My family and Erick's too strongly think we should be done having children. In my heart, I just don't know. I do know that my body needs a break from baby making! What I don't know is if the factory is closed for good!!! In all honesty if it were at all possible, I would freeze my babies at around 6/7 months of age for the rest of my life and truely not feel guilty about messing with the "big plan." So horrible, I know but still true!! So if you see me in the next week or two please hold off on the comments of "how big Paizly is" or "isin't she almost 1?" That is unless you have the time to shoulder my tear filled heart and face with how I can't believe it happened so fast!!! I will post some pictures of Paiz on her birthday.....
but for now...as I said...she is MY BABY AND I WILL CRY ALL I WANT TOO!!! :)

It seems to me like she was just born. Time passes too quickly. How about I have the baby and you take them for the first year and then give them back. I am not really into the baby stage but loev the toddler and older stages.

Oh Molly! Your post brought tears to my eyes! I feel the same way, why do they have to grow up?

I think you are so adorable! I am glad to hear that I am not the only one that cries at every little milestone my children pass. Having my 4th baby turn 1 has been a real eye opener for me. Our time with these special spirits is so short and we need to treasure our time with them. I would love to be pregnant 24/7 and have a million children!

I know exactly how you feel. I honestly think that you and Erick are some of the best parents EVER! I would leave my kids with you any day knowing they would be loved just like your own. I truly mean that. Plus, you and him are the only ones to know if that baby making factory is done or not. I am all for the babies and when the time comes that I am done with that stage of my life we will cry together. Love ya tons!

I've never loved my babies until my 3rd one...maybe becuase he's been my only happy baby. I now realize what I've been missing and I want like 5 more babies...but they'll probably all be boys and I'll got nuts with that many boys running around my house in a few years.

Hey, you don't know me but your husband knows my husband Seth Dodge. I have four children now with my youngest almost 11 months. My mom tells me that IF I have another one I need to wait for five years and make it my last one (my kids are 19 months to 2 years apart). I love being pregnant and love having children in my home. In the gospel we're taught that our relationships with our spouses also include our Heavenly Father. This is commonly referred to as a triangle. No where in that triangle is there a spot for mothers or anyone else. While I love my mother she does not have the final say. She would die if I told her we're planning on 8 children. Whether we'll get there or not I don't know, but I do know we're not done yet. Our decision to have more children is between me, my husband and my Heavenly Father. I will most likely be doing this with opposition from my whole family, but my Heavenly Father knows best. I don't do this out of rebellion to my parents, but because of the love I have for children. I enjoy the laughter and love they bring into our home. I've always believed that when I'm done I won't feel such a hunger to bring more children into my home.
